Many Brazilian children in Japan had difficulty fitting into Japanese schools and were unable to receive a proper education. To help them, Cantinho Gakuen was founded in 2002 as a school approved by the Brazilian government.

Later, the school was also recognized by Aichi Prefecture. It supported foreign children through the Rainbow Bridge Classroom program, helping them enter Japanese schools.

In 2016, the TIA Training Center was opened to provide training for foreign technical intern trainees. These activities became part of Toyohashi International Academy (TIA).

In 2021, TIA established Chubu Language Academy (CLA).

CLA is a Japanese language school where international students learn Japanese and Japanese culture. We support students in achieving their dreams and becoming active members of Japan’s global society.

For students who come to Japan from around the world, their new journey begins here.
