Require Documents
Documents to be submitted by applicants
- Application Form (school-prescribed form, completed by hand)
- Statement of Purpose (school-prescribed form, completed by hand)
- Graduation Certificate from the last school attended (original) or Diploma (original)
- Academic Transcript from the last school attended (original)
- Proof of Japanese language ability equivalent to JLPT N5 or higher
- For the 2-year Academic Preparation Programme: JLPT N5 or higher (or equivalent)
- For the 1-year 6-month Academic Preparation Programme: JLPT N4 or higher (or equivalent)
- Family register or equivalent document (e.g., copy of ID, birth certificate, etc.)
- Four color photographs (4 cm × 3 cm), taken within the last 3 months, upper body, plain background
- Copy of passport (if available)
- Any other documents requested by the school
Japanese Language Requirement Standards
- 2-year Academic Preparation Programme: CEFR A1 level / JLPT N5 pass or equivalent
- 1-year 6-month Academic Preparation Programme: CEFR A1–A2 level / JLPT N4 pass or equivalent
Accepted certificates include JLPT, J.TEST, NAT-TEST, JLCT, and other officially recognized tests for student visa applications.
Documents Required from Financial Sponsor
- Financial Support Statement (school-prescribed form, completed by hand)
- Certificate of Employment
If self-employed: business registration certificate, business license copy, or equivalent documents - Tax Certificate or Income Certificate
Must show the most recent income details - Bank Balance Certificate (issued within the last 3 months)
- Documents proving the relationship between the sponsor and the applicant
(e.g., notarized documents, family relationship certificate, etc.) - Residence Certificate (only if the sponsor resides in Japan)
Important Notes
- All documents must be submitted in original form.
If any document needs to be returned, please inform us at the time of application. - If any documents are written in a language other than Japanese, a Japanese translation must be attached separately.
- The above list represents the minimum required documents. Additional documents may be requested in order to verify eligibility for a
Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
